Zakynthos is the most southerly of the Ionian Islands, this beautiful island was nicknamed 'Flower of the East' by the Venetians. The west side is relatively mountainous and is largely uninhabited, while the east side has picturesque bays and long sandy beaches. The Peligoni Club located in the north has strong following and the area surrounding it has become a desirable place to invest, with the harbour town of Agios Nikolaos becoming a popular and appealing hub for the region.
